This part needs minor fitting to go on a Walther CCP. A small flat file is needed to very slightly reduce the plug portion that goes into the CCP. This sight does NOT come with a tool to put it on and it appears to take a hex wrench smaller than 1/16! I also had to remove the CCP piston to put in the attaching screw. This is very easy w/ a 1/16 punch to drive the attaching roll pin part way out. I used a drop of epoxy on the screw. As long as I had the piston out I put a high polish on it with a buffing wheel. This will help prevent carbon from sticking to it and result in an easier pistol to clean. The rear sights are hard to see on the CCP. I added additional white paint drops to the deep recesses on the rear sight. Use a toothpick for this. I like the CCP but the trigger absolutely stinks. I sent mine to Bill Springfield in Colorado Springs for a 65 dollar trigger job. It is much improved. Do a web search for Bill Springfield and the word "trigger". He has a nice web page. I also used a wood-burner to add additional stippling to the front of the trigger guard.Read full review

Installed this on a Q5 Match, which already had a fiber optic front sight from the factory. The original red/orange wasn't easy for me to see at all, so I got this green one, figuring it would be brighter. Well ... it's SORTA brighter, but it is by NO means easy to see unless there's a LOT of ambient lighting. Outdoors, sure, it's great, but I don't always use the outdoor range that's local to me, so whenever I'm using this at the indoor range, the front sight is barely visible at all. Seriously, a plain white painted-on dot is like twice as bright in the same environment. If you're outdoors and it's a bright day, sure, this thing is wonderful, and for that reason I can't say it was a total wasted investment. It's also well-made and installation only took a couple of minutes (you MUST use blue Loctite on the threads or you WILL be losing your front sight soon). In hindsight, though, I should've probably just spent the extra cash on a good tritium sight, which would be equally useful indoors or outdoors (and costs 3x more).Read full review

First, in the instructions it said some filing may be needed for proper fit which is in conflict with what the description says it will drop right in on. Second, the light pipe has voids in it, horrible glue job from the manufacturer and they are only bright if you are in full noon sunlight. late afternoon you might as well give it up. I put my stock sight back on and chucked it up to "FAIL". It's a shame as The manufacturer used to be known for having the brightest sights out there. Not any more....

The height of this sight is lower than the original sight. At 25 yards the point of impact is over 6 inches too high. Either buy a front and rear sight set or don't waste your money. The quality of the sight is good just not to OEM specifications. Walther makes an inexpensive phosphorus set for about 40.00. It's a better choice on a budget.

Nice sight, but could be brighter. Maybe the orange one would be brighter on this sight ? Had to do some filing on the edges of the plug portion that fits down in the slide to make it fit the Walther CCP.
