they work but don't fit the 1997 GMC van right the front brackets needed to put on a bench grinder so they wouldn't rub on the frame rails. The rear part of the helper spring hits the floor pan of the van so I had to pre-load the spring 100% max pre-load and drive it that way which now makes the van ride real hard not a good deal at all

Watch for inaccuracies in the vehicle compatibility list which said this part would fit my 1994 ford f150. The U bolts are like 2-5/8" wide, but the leaf springs are 3" wide. Ask the for the part width and measure your leaf springs before buying. Part #1801 isn't for 3" wide springs, however it looks like the #1803 is 3" wide.
