Well the handle is metal not plastic and the botton is better than i ever had.we have four dogs and by far this is the best one we have had.i would buy it again and believe me we have many others

This pooper super is waaaay better than my previous method of shovel and rake however the handle feels so flimsy and I'm afraid it's gonna break any day now. Also, if you don't manage to position claws under the poo the teeth will catch in it and will get stuck until you rinse it thoroughly. But overall I'm glad i bought it. Makes life easier since my dog creates about 10 piles a day and I'm not forced to bend over to snag them all.

K.... The springs that close the scoop are really stout....you gotta squeeze purty hard to open the scoop..... but the whole assembly is really stout, too. Should last a while. Wouldn't recommend if your hands aren't strong.
