They were made about as good as most stretchers come now days, but you'll have to adjust the inset anchor bolt tightness before you use, otherwise they will Malfunction!!....they came with two sets of plastic bumps to enhance stubborn areas that you heed a little extra molding for!!....overall they arent bad for 19$...just make sure you buy the correct size boot your stretching or it wont fit or it wont expand right!!

While stretching my boots, one boot stretcher gave way and broke the wood part. I plan on gluing it back together with wood glue. You get two when you buy this product, and the other hasn't broken, at least, not of this review.

These worked brilliantly. I paid nearly $300 for a custom pair of riding boots from Spain. They came one size too small and caused considerable pain. Local shoe repair did not have a stretcher that would fit, so I purchased these and now wear them comfortably. Very grateful!

Quality and function are fine. However, the wooden portion is shaped to fit a high heel boot. Most men's boots are not high heel, so I think calling it a men's boot stretcher is a little misleading. But I was able to get some benefit using it in a flat soled men's boot. And the photo does picture the shape of the stretcher accurately, so I thought it may not fit flat sole boots well when I bought it.
