Wanted a copy to re-read. Good early Bosch.
The Harry Bosch Amazon season released March 2018 features this book as the script. Wanted to re-read the book before I watch the series. Very good. Odd to read a book from the 90s when cops needed quarters for pay phones. Ah, the good old days. If you like Bosch, the Amazon series is as good as the books.

EXCELLENT BOOK BY MICHAEL CONNELLY!
I decided to buy this book because someone recommended it to me. If a book doesn't grab me at within the first two minutes, I won't read it. This one grabbed me right away and I loved it. Good characters, easy and enjoyable reading...definitely recommend buying this one...was surprised by the honest subtext of the racism that still exists today in law enforcement that people don't seem to be aware of(except for those experiencing it!).
