I needed something to tilt my amp back on to hear it better on stage. I have been using just a piece of 2 x 4" under the front of the amp, but that left the amp at risk of falling backward without anything to stop it. I did not want to use a bulky amp stand, and wanted to keep the amp at floor level. This works admirably. Well constructed, easily adjustable settings, and a good value. Now, I put the 2 x 4" block under the front of the amp to lock it from falling forward! Using both the Hamilton stand and the small wood block, the amp is literally LOCKED into its tilted position and can't move at all. Nice invention and good design. Recommend.

WOW - great idea - but entirely dysfunctional - completely ***UNSTABLE***. Setting the amp up against the Uni-Stand is awkward at best and then it slides out from under the weight of a Fender Champ - no telling what would happen with a bigger amp (don't have your head behind it or you'll be seeing stars!). This is probably a testament to my own idiocy for buying it...!!! Buy this *only* if you have money to waste, another amp stand that works - and bandages for your head - and cast and sling for your broken arm(s). *** THIS IS NOT A JOKE ***

The Hamilton Unistand is a good idea on paper, but not upon actual application. To use the Unistand safely, (so it's bad design doesn't allow your periously angled amplifier to suddenly topple over) I had to redesign their product altogether. I had to physically attach the stand to the amp with t-nuts, screws, and, also, by drilling 2 mounting holes in the Unistand, so it could be permanently mounted to the amplifier. Once attached to the amp, the chances of this improperly designed stands' possibility of slipping off the worthless thin rubber Unistand slip pad decreases immensely. I should be reimbursed for redesigning it for them. Thanks to my reengineering, it now works great.

Great stand. Built like a tank. It also has great adjustment features on the top and it has a rubber protection to not mark on your Amp or Cab. Grips well and the rubber feet on the bottom helps stop from moving when playing . All around Great Stand. Just set the tilt you desire, place the Stand , and now you get to Hear your music. No longer blowing by you it's right in your ear. This will help with stage volume and keep the Sound tech happy. A must buy for guitar players .

Seems it will only work for small combos, single speaker amps without caster wheels. Heavier, twin speaker amps will over balance it and fall over. Caster wheels will not allow this prop to work as discription states.
