I went from the LG Fathom with the 1ghz Snapdragon processor to the 528Mhz Qualcomm processor in the Touch Pro2, so it wasn't fair, but it still was too slow for me. If there were going to put all that touch sense stuff in there, they should've had a much faster processor. The features on the phone are simply awesome, but the speed restricts the fun. The battery life is great and the touch screen is ultra sensitive, it doesn't even feel like a resistive touch screen. The zoom bar is extremely nice and the keyboard is the best out there. If you want a windows mobile device on Verzion, I would suggest the LG Fathom. The screen is a little smaller and the keyboard isn't the greatest, but it is 10 times faster and it has the more updated 6.5.3 version of Windows Mobile. Just remember to update the Fathom to get threaded texting.Read full review
This phone is great it has an on-screen keyboard for texting,a slide out keyboard, & threaded messaging. It doesnt come with an instant message app but you can download it from verizons app store. The phone is touch screen its pretty accurate but it gets a little slow depending on how many programs are running. Camera-4/5 with flash capture delayed KeyBoards-5/5 Both are great Touch Wheel-5/5 The Charge-On 50% lasts about 5 hours of constant texting,face-booking,games, & taking pics as ive found using it today. Windows Mobile-Not the best for this phone i dont mind it but its not needed Youtube-Download codecs from windows to play them. Lock Button-2/5 Constantly unlocks in pockets cause its on top of the phone and super sensitve, All in all i love this phone so far im really picky with phones but this one seems to be great for texting, internet browsing, games, pics, & phone calls in a days charge.Read full review
I was specifically looking for a phone with a slide QWERTY keyboard that was new and since they don't really make them anymore, this looked like a good option. The seller was great. However, the battery life on this phone is pretty terrible mostly because once it opens a program it starts eating more battery life and if you don't close EACH TIME then you'll just have this phone on charge all day. I don't even do that much with it, mostly texting and no internet. The screen is small and doesn't really work well with finger touches so you have to use the supplied stylus (which fits nicely into the phone w/ a magnetic catch). The phone portion of the, well, phone doesn't have great service and the speaker phone is very quiet which doesn't help since I use that often when calling. This phone is kind of what Microsoft thought a smart phone should be back in the 2009 or so but it's a jack of all trades and master of none :) I'll keep this is a back up phone but will get something like an LG Ally or Samsung Brightside.Read full review

Along with its keyboard-free sibling, the HTC Touch Diamond, the Touch Pro has an impressive feature set. Perhaps the most important feature is its VGA screen, which provides a higher-resolution display than the QVGA screens in use today on Windows Mobile smartphones. Other features include the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS, TouchFLO 3D,, a 3MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, EV-DO mobile broadband, and GPS.
I am on the fence with this phone. There are some things i like about the phone and alot of things i dont like. I like the price of the phone, the size and shape of the phone. What i dont like is how complicated the phone is. I was not aware that is like an actual mini computer. Im used to just texting and dialing. I cant just pick up and dial with it. This phone uses a stylus has many features, folders, applications, and so forth. I have to tap what program i want to go to with the stylus and sometimes the stylus responds slowly. I guess with some time i will get use to it. The battery life is pretty good and very good call clarity. All in all this phone is ok i really would not recommend this phone to anyone. Use at your own risk!
