I purchased this C6280 all-in-one printer because my C6280 had become unusable after many years and I had just purchased some spare HP 02 ink cartridges. The size is perfect for my desk layout. It is easy to set up and operate. I especially like that it has physical pushbuttons for all functions. The print quality is excellent using regular paper or the 4 X 6 photo paper.

Received as expected. Didn't work on my computer even after uninstalling old software and installing new software. Ended up taking the back off new one and putting on old printer. Paid 320.00 for a small part. Oh well.

i really looked into this and a few other printers before settling on this one. dispite hearing that the print quality was poor and all the other gripes about this printer, i still bought it. and i couldn't be happier. text print quality is nice and clear, the 4x6 prints i've printed look awesome (note: only buy hp photo paper, i found out the hard way), the scans are better than my previous all in one and the stand alone scanner. it's not the best of scans, but i've seen a lot worse. the software for network connection is goofy, as is all hp software (could be a windows issue, as most problems w/ pc's is that they run a microsoft os). i've only had the printer for a month or so, and i don't do a whole lot of printing, so i can't speak for ink usage or longevity of the printer. but so far, i've got no complaints. if you can pick one up for under $100 (usd), i say go for it. no fax didn't really make or break the deal, though it would have been nice. and i wouldn't have minded the cd label maker another model featured, but the built in ethernet connection was more important on an all in one to me. bottom line- a nice little all in one, w/ good features, nice quality printing/scanning, at a nice price.Read full review
I have one at work and liked it so much I bought one for my home use. It does a great job at printing picturesandprinting in general. The ink cartridges are easy to change and are very affordable when purchased on line. I have had some problems with it scanning documents. The very small print or lines does not get copied.
THESE PRINTERS ARE VERY GOOD. THE ONLY DRAW BACK THAT IT HAS WHEN SWITCHING FROM HEAVY PAPER STOCK FROM THINNER STOCK THE MACHINE HAS TO BE PROGRAMMED TO THE CHANGE.....MY HP460 MOBILE PRINTER DOES THIS WITH EASE....I ONLY BUY HP PRINTERS AND WAS A THE ASR SALES REP FOR HP IN MY AREA IN CALIF. SO I WATCHED THE PRINTERS WITH THE 02 INKS STARTING WITH THE HP 8250.....THE PICTURE PRINTS ARE NOT AS FAST AS THEY CLAIM BUT GOOD ENOUGH. I HAVE 3 OF THESE PRINTERS......I LIKE THE SOFTWARE THAT CAME WITH MY HP3210 PRINTER BETTER..
