When I first got it I had a problem with it pinching hairs. I know I was twisting the bottom of it and not the middle like you are supposed to. But it hurt like the devil when it caught a hair. FINALLY I though about it and I figured it out. You have to twist the bottom back and forth not twisting it round and round. Works perfect now and DOES NOT pull hairs at all. Cuts them nice and close and gets them all with out taking a long time twisting it back and forth. Good Product. And I have used all of the battery operated ones that spin round fast. None of them have large enough slots to let in the hairs. Buy this one.

Manual dexterity a must with this hand operated trimmer. Not easy to use in tight places like in the ear and nose, which is what they claim it is good for. Heavyweight, should last a long time especially if you do not use it. I would not recommend this item.

No pulling, no nicks or cuts. It works as fast and as well or better than the battery operated versions. Remember to twist back and forth in alternating directions and not around and around in one direction. There are bad reviews from people who said it is hard to use or pulls. I consider this to be more of a novelty than a functioning tool. It really does not work. Theory of operation is cumbersome at best. Probably modeled after a battery operated tool that did work. If you get a hair in the blade and have not turned it enough to cut it off. It will pull much the same as moving scissors before the blades have finished traveling. Save you money.
