This is a trip into the formative years of American cycling. Much of the information and advice still ring true today. As a huge fan of the American racing programs history, this book presents a good look from inside the peleton. Mr. LeMond was at the forefront legitimizing the USA as a formidible force to be recokoned with, For a book twenty-one years old it is still relevent. I would reccomend it to any cycling history buff or fan of Greg LeMond's.
This is still the definitive book for cycling. The bike fitting, training, and riding technique sections are excellent. Greg's method for jumping the bike is my favorite. It saved my ass!
Great book to understand the essential elements of bike fit and power development. I've ridden for years and appreciated the explanation of how to properly fit or search for your new ride.
a little obsolete in most ways but in the training section as good as a new cycling book, i buy this book cause i read a lot of good things about, here Greg shows hes very egocentric face, if you like the old fashion cycling this book is for you :)
