Season Two of the five seasons of Get Smart is exactly what one would expect. More of the same which, in this case, is exactly what I wanted. It has the optional introductions for each episode, of which there are 30, by Barbara Feldon. If you enjoy good tongue-in-cheek slapstick comedy, I cannot imagine not enjoying this television show. It is a comical take on the cloak-and-dagger spy idea. Maxwell Smart is a spy employed by Control which is opposed to the organization Kaos. He and other fellow Control agents, particularly 99, the woman who loves Maxwell, under the of authority of Chief battle against their opposite forces. This series was originally shown on broadcast television from 1965 to 1970 and is chock full of pop-culture and politics from that time. It is dated, but that is a large part of its charm. It may lose some relevance for younger people who did not live during that time, but the comedy is so good it overcomes that aspect. Get all the five seasons and enjoy.Read full review
Ditto for Season Two of the Season One review.... What's not to like about the classic TV series! Mel Brook's comic touch to this classic is great fun to watch. I'm having fun re-living the fun TV of my childhood, and introducing it to my kids. It's a nice break to watch something together with them, and not to have to worry about the content being appropriate or not (except that classic TV does have a lot of smoking). And remembering the original source for a variety of lines (...missed it by That Much...) You know, there were famous taglines before SNL..... Besides, we need a break from Rocky and Bullwinkle every now and then!
I purchased the first series and it left me wanting more. So, I bought the second series and I am very happy with it. It had me remembering Don Adams TV cartoon, Inspector Gadget. Then I remembered they released a new Get Smart with Andy Dick.

Were getting tired of watching them, still love Barbara Feldon. Good copy, great price but were going to wait a few months, Don Adams is a bit too much, still love him too. Jerry
