I removed broken parts, then drilled 3/8 holes in seat about 1" deep at original belt guide holes. Any remaining plastic or original star nut are pushed aside inside seat. I drilled 1/8" holes through new belt guide plastic nubs. I countersunk the hole on outside of new belt guide to match the head of the 1/8" toggle bolts I shortened about 1". The toggle is installed through new belt guide then shortened ears are pressed into 3/8" holes drilled in side if seat. I painted toggle bolt heads flat black then tightened toggle bolt. Nice clean easy install without removing seat cover.
