Deadly quiet/accurate
Wow ! What an awesome rifle. Straight out of the box the iron sights were spot on @25. Attached the scope (with a little blue loctite) within 5 minutes was shooting 1/2 inch groups @ 35 and 45 yards. Not bad but quite the pull when cocking piston after 50 to 75 or 100 pulls you start to notice a bit. Ground squirrel KILLER
I needed a air rifle for taking care of these ground squirrell pests and this is it. Very accurate with the right pellets. I havent had any issues with scope movement.. The gun is heavy which is good when shooting off a rest, which is what I do. It is not quiet. That suppressor at the end of the barrel is for looks only and again the nouse is not a problem for me. It has a decent trigger too.. I can hit these critters out to 50 yards. My left arm muscle is getting a good work out also. I bought the .22 calibure but if i had to do it all over again I would have gone with the .177 calibure version.. The .22 on these squirels really destroys them when I need to deispose of them. Accurate right out of the box
Accurate right out of the box! I ordered some Gamo TS-22 pellets, set up a target about 25yds away and was within a few inches of the bullseye even though I was steadying the gun w/o a rest. The scope that came with the gun suits my needs as I am not shooting that far. It was super easy to install on the gun too. Since this was the first air rifle I've bought since I was a kid, found out that the reviews were absolutely true that this is "not your dad's BB gun". It has a pretty good recoil for an air rifle. Love the gun. Hate the scope mount(rrr). Scope is junk. I think gamo has great products. However, when they designed this gun they failed to give you options with their new design rail. When I mounted my scope, I saw a ghost of my front site in my objective window. This for me, this is very distracting. Unfortunately, gamo doesn’t have a way to correct this; except to purchase a scope that cradles higher in the scope mount. On my other gamo guns, I was able to change the rings for a higher mount eliminating this problem. I’m disappointed that they don’t have a rail riser to correct this issue. Or allow to to put a picatinny rail incorporating their (rrr) , recoil reducing rail. Overall, this weapon is a bad mamma gamma!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very Very accurate pellet rifle. Hitting dime size groups at 25 yards. The Mach 1 .22 caliber provides very good Foot pounds of energy with a 16 gr. pellet.
