I really tried to get tgis game to work. I have done everything I can to play this game but it won't work. Don't get it unless you have an old computer with at least Windows 95 to run this or you will end up spending money on a game that just wont run. :( it is not the senders fault though! Thank you anyways.

My grandson loves it. It’s a 1990s era video game. It won’t play on Windows 10 as is but there are easy instructions on the web on getting to run flawlessly.

I love the old 90's version of the PC game of life. I did a trial of a newer version and I didn't like the "lawsuits" and such. This one is not cutthroat, the only hint of aggression is in the enhanced version (not the classic) if you land directly on Pay Day you choose whose account your paycheck comes from ("Revenge!") or during Life's Little Games where you spin to win or play there's one number for "Revenge" and the same rule applies. Otherwise, it's very lighthearted, fun, and all self explanatory (the new version seemed complicated as well as the unwelcome lawsuit and other things). The only thing I don't like about this game is that I can't play it on my laptop which now has Windows 7. I have yet to find out if they're able to fix that, but I can still play it on my (Windows XP) Desktop. : ) Moreover, I absolutely LOVE the cartoons; they're hilarious and there's one for EVERY SPACE! I hope this version of the Game of Life will ALWAYS be available!Read full review
My daughter can sit in her room, my son in his, my wife in the living room, and I'm on my laptop. Up to six players can play over a home network (wired or wireless). We each have our own screen, which enables us to not fight over who is going to control the keyboard, etc. Also agree with the other reviews by saying this is a very fun and nostalgic game. Works on Windows XP, eventhough it is somewhat out-dated.
The game of Life is a fun game to play, and I liked the variation that the disk comes with (bonus games instead of LIFE tiles). The detractors include the cluttered screens, making it very hard to see where players are on the board, and the animations seem mostly overdone. Some of this may seem novel and even clever at first, but that wears off soon. It's okay fun, suited for all ages. Especially if available for only a couple of bucks.
