I play afew different gigs.. acoustic and rock/metal, this amp does them both easily. I really purchased this amp because of its Unmatched Tone for acoustic and its power. Deep bass without boominess and balanced scoopable mids with crystal clear highs. I use the second channel for either mandolin or vocals depending on the gig. But I also use it with the boss gt 10 for rock and metal rehersals and jams where its Loudness and size freak out all of my bandmates. The one thing is that it will only do one effect at a time.. and while the reverb (for acoustic) is awesome.. it would be nice to have a bit of chorus as well.
I bought the Fishman Loubox 100 because I wanted something small and powerful. I tried it at a store and I loved the sound and appearance. It has many features that are very convenient: two channels, headphone jack, tuner jack, foot switch, tweeter, etc. It is a little pricy but I think that it is worthy. I added a nice looking and very practical gig bag. I can carry it with ease. I am keeping this one for a long time. I love it.
Quality made acoustic guitar amplifier with stereo input on line 2 for a stereo guitar. Very well built, much better than the new loudbox artist. Metal grill, real plywood and a tweeter make this a "no comparison" to the newer models or similar models offered from the competitors. I sold my new Loudbox artist to buy one of these. With the purchase of an amp cover, this amp should last for several years of great reliable service.
