I am an experienced do-it-yourselfer and this book covers all aspects of drywall installation and finishing including mistakes to avoid and techniques to make the job turn out professionally. I would rate this book as a must read for anyone who wishes to learn about drywall techniques. The text is clear and there are many photographs to illustrate the points that the author is making. It even includes sound control techniques. The only downside is the lack of framing prep or correction information - the book covers the fact that work site is pretty much ready for drywall. First, one should learn a bit about basic carpentry before trying your new drywall skills.
I read other books and that one is: good explaining, excellent pictures. It's a complete one, excellent .

...if you are new to the business of hanging drywall, or want to review the basics. I highly recommend this book as a learning tool and advise counselor.
