I had a Filter Queen vacuum for 17 years and loved it. It is easy to use, a little awkward to empty but nothing serious. Very good pick-up and doesn't clog easily.

This vacuum is the worst vacuum I've ever used. It's really for the people that like to vacuum once a year, because it is extremely frustrating. First, the hose and cord are hard to keep from tripping over. The hose is not flexible and there is no retraction for the cord. The suction is poor all around the head. The closest you can get to the walls is about an inch, which is poor. The canister is clunky and will constantly snag on everything you try to vacuum around. Emptying this is even worse. It's disgusting, because there aren't any bags. You get to empty it while dust flies everywhere. Even on the highest of settings, it doesn't pick up any better than a regular upright vacuum. Every time I use this monstrosity, I get upset and frustrated. It's just not worth the hassle.

We needed a replacement for the one we had. It works great so far. Thanks

I am fimilar with filter queen and I am pleased to own one now. This one was in great shape to be used. I love the fact that it does a great job and runs soooo quiet. The noise level is so low but does not affect the water lift in suction. I wish other vacuum manufacturers would take into acount the decibel level of their machines.
The vacuum arrived in short order and was well packaged. It was very clean; all pieces were in very good condition. All attachments and filters were included and it works well.
