if you're not a DH, don't bother...you'll here bum notes, feedback, tape tweaks, etc...real DHs will hear almost virgin versions of several concert staples (loser, bird song, ripple, uncle john's band, etc.) that were still being developed and experimented with, especially by bobby and jerry's guitar parts...listening to it know it's hard to imagine what it must have been like to hear these raft of songs when they were new...also, one of the main reasons i bought this was the quality of sound that many reveiws mentioned...it's quite true: if you have a reasonably good playback system with rear channel capability, you'll feel like your right on stage (or just behind the amp line); it pretty cool...one last thing: PIGPEN (just enjoy him here when he was still in his prime)
Great Alligator sequence on one of the 4 discs. Very jammy I was impressed as a 364 show veteran of the Grateful Dead.

Service was excellent.Being an old deadhead from S.F. thought the live verison would be awesome to share with my 5 yr. grandaughter who has been raised with lots of music in the home. At first the quality seem to have many skips but the disc were new on second playing there were were no skips and the jams were excellent it must have been the Heineken fisrt time around.VERY HAPPY!
