I originally bought this thinking it was a greatest hits CD. It might as well have been. It contained most of my favorites and right off the bat the first four songs were Superstar, Click Click Boom, My Disease, and one other I can't remember the name of . Really gets you rocking. After that the songs slow down a little but not by much. The CD is great and is from when the original singer Scott was still with the band. I'd recommend it even for just the first four songs.Overall it's still a great CD. The title came from the fact that supposedly men think about sex every six seconds. Don't believe it. We aren't weak..But great title ;)

I used to spend my time listening to music on my own time while playing videogames. The 1st time I've ever came across saliva, when I was playing test drive: overdrive on the ps2 made me go out and buy a couple CD's!

Saliva: Josey Scott (vocals); Chris Dabaldo, Wayne Swinny (guitar); Dave Novotny (bass); Paul Crosby (drums). Additional personnel: Swinny (guitar, lap steel, banjo, mandolin). "Your Disease" was nominated for the 2002 Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance. While this hard-rocking quintet churns out gut-crunching guitar riffs capable of giving Korn or Limp Bizkit a run for their money, EVERY SIX SECONDS isn't a gravy train-riding rap-metal endeavor. From the sound of things, Saliva has learned a thing or two from the ominous, minor-key melodies of '90s grunge-related acts like Alice In Chains and the instantly accessible hooks of poppier types such as Collective Soul. While much of the album is spent at an intensity level of 11, there are moments (particularly the reflective "Hollywood") of relative melodic respite. Saliva sounds fully capable of pinning back the ears of any teenage mosh-pit denizen, but there are a few moments on this disc that wouldn't sound at all out of place in any given Top 40 radio format.Read full review
I'm a big Saliva fan, but went in reverse order. I bought their latest disc first and have worked my way backwards. I have never been disappointed. Heavy guitar riffs with hard hitting, in your face lyrics (and a "softy" here and there for the wife). I got a great deal on this disc on e-bay. It was used, but as advertised - barely. It worked perfectly - even the case was in mint condition.
Good deal on this one.
