I spent weeks agonizing over buying a projector. It became clear the two big names were Sony and Epson. This model, despite being older and obsolete, is still a high-quality item. It's lightweight, portable, has a straightforward menu and enough useful features to make it worth buying. It throws a large image, has keystone buttons to adjust the corners so the image has the right shape, a USB port for flash media, zoom lens to adjust the size of the image, and it can be set to deal with a well-lit room. It's not a substitute for a $2,000.00 outdoor cinema projector - the image has visible pixels - but it genuinely does the job. It's an Epson with a metal shell, not a cheap plastic Epson knock-off.

Purchased projector for it's lightweight and brightness features to make presentations without carrying laptop to meetings. Fits the bill perfectly. Very well constructed and has everything needed to get started. Like the carry case. All software included. One surprise was that you had to own a full copy of MS Powerpoint 2002 or later to convert PPT presentations to Epson files for the USB thumb drive. Would be an even better product if it could read PPT files directly without the conversions.
It deserves to buy. And it's easy to carry for light weight and small size. It's so cheap with the discount.
