Great smoker to use. Convenient to use with wood pellets, heat quickly and easy to clean. Have bought 3 over the last 7 years and use them year round. The only only item to improve on would be to have replacement parts for the whole smoker (the heating should be replaceable).

I have used this weekly since purchase. I even bought the cold smoker setup so I could do cheese. Paint peeled on it the second use btw It does great but electric smokers are known to not produce as much smoke flavor as other methods. So if you like heavy smoke this probably won’t satisfy you. Also it’s really thin metal. The slide out to add wood got bent from a sliver of wood turned wrong within a month of purchase. Now it’s a constant battle to realign each use. I usually just open the door and restock the wood tray directly. Which I just noticed had a pin hole rusted through. So lasted a year and a half. Sharp edges everywhere so cleaning is almost guaranteed a cut in the finger. I ended up buying 2 more as gifts. They seem to like them. But they rarely use theirs. I admit I use it a lot. Don’t clean it often. But even the paint is peeling. I paid $150. For that’s it’s a good starter that might last a few years. But if you want better quality this isn’t it. It’s just a fairly cheap smoker that does a decent job. The upside is electrics you set the temp and it maintains it. So I like it. But next time will spend a little more on a better quality. Btw. I have ribs. Sausages. And salsa fixins on it as I type this.Read full review

Awesome smoker for the money! Highly recommended. The electric element and computer chip that regulates temperature make this smoker "idiot proof" and no nightmares burning the food with charcoal, or wood chunks. For best results cook at low temperature ( below 200 degrees), and smoke for a long time. I recommend mesquite chips for pork and most meats except fish. You'll love it!

Assembly was easy. Smoker worked fine. I've got to become a better operator. Smoked chicken and flavor was excellent. I pulled the chicken out too quick and had to bake it in the oven for 45 min.s. I don't blame the smoker just the operator. I will follow up when I smoke more meat.
