Very sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. It is my first time using a safety razor and my experience with it has been really well. At first it is easy to notice the difference between gillette razors and safety razors in feel and technique of shaving. Extremely sharp single blade feels less irritating on the skin. Handle is shorter than I expected but I saw photos of over customers with razor in hand so it wasn't a big surprise. very satisfied with this product

I wasn’t real sure when I opened it, it was heavier than expected and felt real slick in my fingers even with the lines. After shaving the first time with it, I had no issues with the weight, or smoothness of the handle. In fact the weight let’s the razor do the shaving in my opinion, no pressure is really needed at all and again the slickness/smoothness of the handle has not been an issue. The Feather blades work great in the razor, in letting it do the shaving. Very pleased with this product after using it for 2 weeks now.

I have had all of the major brands of safety razors over the years, and this one is my favorite. I've had adjustable, butterflies, and so on, but this one is narrower at the comb, which make it easier for those tight areas especially under the nose. Quality is second to none. I prefer the short handle, light and balanced razors, because I seam to cut myself more often with longer and/or heaver razors. Definitely recommend buying it.

I've recently gone back to DE Safety Razor wet shaving. I belonged to Dollar Shave Club and their Executive line was their best. Their price is great for 4 blades at $9 and did a decent shave. But I got to thinking there is so much plastic in any cartridge blades. I am a woman, and I remember "borrowing" my Daddy's saftery razor and him screaming at me for ruining his blades. I got rid of the cartridge and delved into using this razor and love it. I get a nice, close shave and the learning curve is easy, letting the razor do all the work with little pressure. I also got rid of the canned shave cream and purchased nice shave soaps and am using brushes to lather. This is a very popular razor for a reason. It is not overly agessive and perfect. I'm also a woman who shaves her face because makeup goes on so smoothly and nicer. For a first time user, this razor is perfect. Get a sample pack of different blades to try in this razor. Because it isn't overly agressive, even the sharper blades work well with it. Blades for saftey razors are so inexpensive compared to cartidges and no plastics to be put into landfills.Read full review

Tired of paying for disposable razors and not really all that interested in adding more plastic to the oceans, I researched double edged razor shaving and made the leap. A high quality razor was an imperative. And good blades too (Derby - a beginner's blade). I am completely and thoroughly happy with all aspects of my purchase. A chrome plated beauty that I have has no issues handling at all. I shave in the shower without a mirror using bar soap. The razor's feel and balance are exceptional; its easy to dis-assemble and load with a new blade every 4 shaves. This really is the way to go.
