Bottom line; I will dropping some serious aerial biscuits 400 ft away from me!!! This bat can do some high level damage, I can’t wait to unleash it on some baseballs. It’s a beautiful thing, well put together 2 piece bat that has a 2 5/8 inch diameter barrel and lots of colorful stuff adorning the handle and grip. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Bat came broken in and ready to hit with. Solid feel and top loaded makes ball carry well off of the Surge. The barrel is slightly smaller then the XL1 but has great pop and sound since the barrel is metal and not composite. I bought this as a practice bat since it was used and I have an XL1 as a game bat but I will use this against certain pitchers since it has a shorter, quicker barrel then the XL1. I have tried Rip-it,Marucci black, and the LS EXO but since I am a power hitter the Easton series bats suit my swing much better because of the big barrel and is top loaded but still a nice balanced bat.
My 12 year old loves the bat!!!

Very underrated bat from the era when Easton made the best BBCOR bats in the game. Good balance, lots of pop, no sting on mis-hits. Great all-around BBCOR bat.

Not sure why Easton stopped making this bat. It's really good. Nice balance, good pop, no sting. Why spend more?
