If you are reading this, then you must be looking for none other than the Nvidia Geforce 9800 GTX+. Though the "+" isn't really that much of a boost from the normal GTX, eVGA makes a superclocked version giving you more power to handle you graphics intensive games. This card comes with a clock speed of almost 760Mhz, faster than the 9800 GX2 clock speeds. A whopping 2200Mhz in the memory clock, as well as 512MB GDDR3 RAM with a 256MB interface. For the price you pay for this card, you'll not regret it. The card also comes with a great quality stock fan with adjustable speeds to keep the card cool under load. This means you can smoke "Crysis" without smoking the card. If you can find one, then get another to run in SLI mode for an even greater boost in performance. Right here on ebay you can get two for about the half the price of the GTX 285 model. So if you want a fast reliable card for a cheap price, look no further than the eVGA Nividia 9800 GTX+ Superclocked. You'll be the envy of all your gaming friendsRead full review
I made this purchase through e-bay because my son wanted it for gaming. The price was right and I've always had great luck with e-bay so I made the purchase. The thing I didn't like about this product was the size. I, being ignorant of the in's and out's of the computer mechanics cost me more money. I had to have all the "guts" in my original computer placed into a gaming tower and and had to buy a new power supply. Advise for anyone buying this, if you don't know if its appropriate for the computer you have then ask a technician. As far as the product goes it is Amazing! I spent more cash than I intended but I have one heck as a result. I will never go back to basic again.
Currently running 2 of these 9800GTX+'s in SLI, and let me tell you. I have to upgrade my 19inch LCD widescreen cuz thats holding them back. The max resolution on my monitor is 1440X900, these GPU's can handle up to 2560 x 1600!!! Nearly double that of my LCD's max res... I even have to change out my mobo, thats how bad a$$ these cards are. If you want to get your game on, seriously.......run 2 or more in sli. If you just want to get basic gaming goin, there's cheaper yet effective gpu's out there for ya. Make sure you have an X16 slot to unlock its full potential, my board supports X8 shared to X16 when in SLI, hence the need for a new board. EVGA rocks man.
Used Video cards are hit and miss. This one worked fine so I am pleased. Thanks
