I've used ESI grips for years, I have tried others including bolt on grips. I find those to be too thick. ESI grips don't rotate or dig into your palms. This pair was the "new" style with special shaping that was developed by NASA or something like that. I can't tell the difference from the old style. (sorry NASA). As always, ESI bar end plugs are no good. I will use the plugs that came on the bike. They are wide enough to protect the end of the grip and extra long so they stay in the bar. (Are you listening ESI?).

In the summertime I usually don't use gloves when riding on the trail. Original ESI are very slippery then. These are not. These ara comfortable, grippy and lasts... They also look good on you bike.

Nice grip. The cut in on the grip works well with people with shorter fingers. Great paired with carbon bars.

I had the regular version of these and these are a huge improvement. Couldn't be happier.
