I bought two of those for a project of mine that requieres driving 4 brushed DC motors at 12V each. It took me about an hour to setup my little test project on a breadboard to test them and have all wires connected securely, but when I plugged in the battery, one of the two motor driver made a crazy noise and its yellow capacitor bursted into flames. After some research, I found the schematics for these boards online and found out the cap that exploded was a 10uF 20V one. I had some 10uF 25V lying around so the next day I replaced both of them with those much bigger caps and ever since then, I've had no problem. I just think I got a bad capacitor on one of them. It wasn't hard at all to replace but that's only because I happened to have a similar one already.

Got them in a reasonable time and they work great. I'll be ordering more in the near future. I'm using them on my SuperHeroBots that I 3D print myself as part of the X-Projects in the R2Pv1 S.T.E.A.M. Education Program using a RoboGuts™ circuit board.
