Im active, with narrow flat fee, and had had plantar faciatis for as long as I can remember. These insoles make my life as Nurse possible without living on tylenol, motrin or the like. Better than the custom orthotics Ive had. You may need to experiment with removing, or leaving the shoes stock insoles with these. Get the right ones. Highly recommended.

Not Good Enough for someone who has one foot a half size larger than the other foot, and who may have other differences when comparing the foot on one side to the foot on the other side. I need arch supports that are tailored individually to each foot. The problem for me with these arch supports that they are sold in pairs while one of my feet is significantly different from the foot on the other side. With these arch supports: after 5 miles of speed walking on pavement - I develop some forefoot pain in my right foot, but not in my left foot. But these Dr. Scholl's arch supports may work just fine for most people. I need to see a good podiatrist who will make a casting/molding of my feet and from that: provide me with custom arch supports which will support my arches and my forefeet. Read full review

The heal has a very nice cushion. It makes dress shoes with laces much more comfortable. However, since the insert is only 3/4 length, the front of my foot (I am men's size 9) has very little cushion so it does not improve the comfort very much in the front. My feet feel too elevated in the back compared to the front. Also, I can only wear them with laced shoes, the inserts result in loafers being too tight on the top of the foot. HOWEVER, I would still purchase them again because they relieve foot pain.

I’ve tried about 15 different pairs of insoles, using customer ratings and feedback to help with selection, but this is my second pair of these Dr. Scholl’s orthotic inserts and they are the best. I wore the last pair I had to death, switching them out from one pair of shoes to another after having paid full price for them and finding nothing else that was as comfortable. I’m glad I sprang for another pair. I don’t think I’ll waste my money anymore on cheaper inserts. I love they way these support my arches so nice and cushy, and they actually get better after a few wearings. These really are the best. I walk dogs for a living and it is definitely worth the money to keep my feet comfortable, and my back is better too.
