I have my truck with the Viper alarm for for 10 years and this is the second replacement remote I have purchased. I still have the last one I just beat it up really good. The remote is durable and works great I just decided to purchase the leather protective case to improve the durability. You have to pay close attention to the instructions on the packaging for programing the new key to the alarm as it can be frustrating.
