This fit well into the cavity of an Epiphone SG short scale bass. The mount screws lined up well enough. The only alteration is where the wire exits the pickup I used a half round linoleum knife to carve a channel to the exit hole for the wire to lay as not get pinched by the pickup. Very easy. This pup is clearer and more definition than the Chinese mudbucker. I gives the bass a little more range and the multi pole adjustments help the string balance, Is it worth another $90 into a $300 bass? up to you, but I'm a geek that way. If you play loud or use a large diameter speaker it is much better.

Decent replacement. Sturdy metal construction. Mounting screws are useless. Would prefer if the pole pieces were black. Sounds good.

This is a great sounding pickup but it does not fit into eb3 pickup cavity spent two hrs shaving the pickup wax they put around the pickup to make it fit.I think Dimarzio pickups are very good but I am not happy with this product.

Model 1 pickup sounds very goo. A lot of low end punch. Good midrange. Good balance.
