Dell Latitude D620 motherboard I have purchased several of these to repair two laptops. Going cheap often provides acceptible resullts, not always. Thinking I could repair the problem of the item description was not always successful, either. Finally, I paid more for a working, guarenteed board with a processor. After installation, that one worked successfully. A replacement motherboard can be a low cost repair, if you know what to do. If you are not technally competent, I suggest you not try this one. Now that I have removed and replaced the motherboard several times, I can do it quickly. My D620 now works fine, but needs hard drive update due to Microsoft claiming my windows install is invalid. (Stupid Microsoft uses ways to make the load look illegal, even when it is a good install.) I will never give Microsoft more money for the program I own to use on a laptop that has a key code sticker installed. I had various experiences with motherboards that claimed working, but did not operate as promised. Sometimes, the USB extension board is removed, but pictured in the item listing. Cautionary note: Installed onboard video does not always work and cannot be replaced except by qualified technicians. The Nvidia graphics is wonderful when it works and a problem when it does not. Sellers rarely list the video memory. Nvidia comes in several size of video memory, even 64 mb and 132 mb. Intel video is the most stable, but I have found only low amounts of video memory, like 8 mb. I understand 16 mb is available, but not as common. I spent a little, then a lot to repair my laptop. Finally success. I like to repair laptops in my retirement years. It gives me something to do each day.Read full review
