I installed one of these in an Precision T-7500 workstation as a test drive for Windows 10. Being a mechanical HDD, I was worried it would be very slow with Windows 10. But it's actually quite a fast HDD. I benchmarked several of these, and their read speed is around 100 MB/s, which is about as good as it gets for low-capacity mechanical HDDs. So if you need a test HDD or cheap HDD for a basic desktop computer (note: not a laptop - they are too thick for that), these should fit the bill nicely. They are cheap and mine has been reliable so far, despite the constant writing/updates I put it through from Windows 10.
