Totally unusual movie if you are a newcomer to Wong Kar Wai movies. It progresses in an almost dreamlike way. Very hard to explain, but it's as if, Kar Wai captures _emotions_ on film... the imagery is brilliant. You feel as if you could take any clip from this film, print it out, and hang it on the wall, as if each scene is a masterpiece of art. I recommend watching Days of Being Wild, then In The Mood for Love, and then 2046 (in that order).
One of the great Hong Kong classics of all time
