The most awsesome pump there is out there. At 5V, 1 watt, with a 1000ma usb charger, its flow is powerful and can be adjusted down by the pumps internal lever. It is rated up to 9v capable at 3 watts maximum, and pumps a great amount of water for its small size. I've ordered usb water pumps in the past that were small, and these are slightly smaller than that. This is the smallest water pump I have had in the black box shape, and it does the job well. If adjusting flow down or up, adjust to where pump is operating quietly and smoothly. I bought 3 for the discount price which is great. I have one in an outdoor small tabletop fountain, which is kept topped up with water by means of an upside down perrier water bottle filled with water to self fill the fountain when the water level goes down. Do not let the pumps run dry, they function at low water levels, but to make them last years, keep them fully submerged in water to run cool. I want to try and get my $3 to $4 pump to last me 3 to 4 years, $1 dollar a year, at 1 watt. I may try an 800ma usb charger to see if it can run on 8/10th's of a watt, that way I may not have to turn it down or not turn down so much. This thing will be paying for itself in saved electricity, over other small-med pumps (non usb), where the extra flow is unnecessary and adjusted down anyway. At this price, I may buy more and connect a 5v adapter to my 12v solar system and just replace all my indoor fish pumps, and that will help keep my tank cool in the hot summers. Also for saltwater fish because of the conductivity of the saltwater, 5v is recommended over live high 120v volt lines going directly into water. Where the wire is the common 2 stranded visible housewire also used on common house lamps, air pumps and other non-water equipment. Like most small fountain pumps with 120v plug have that kind of wire. These make things safer, and less hazardous since they are submerged in water all of use. $4 to prevent hazards, even the fish like it if they are not catching some side electricity from some live wire corroding away over the years, Your house will be safer. I'll take 10 more please. :)Read full review
