Maybe I didn't tighten the jam nuts enough, but those course threads are not what I have on my tractor for the power take of springs. Fine threads hold better. Ended up just using the old bolts and got some lock nuts for them from Ace... plus some locktight. Holds now. Again probably my fault the first assembly fell apart, but I am not thrilled about course threads when the fine threads were what was original to the tractor. For anyone using this, Jam those nuts together good and use some blue locktight! Not red... that stuff does not come off I am told. Or just get some lock nuts for the fine thread bolts (1/4-28 on mine). Everything else is nice, and the setting gage (the thin metal plate) worked for my 105 cub cadet from 1963. The Allen wrench held up well too btw, but some harder T shaped ones made the job easier. Probably want a Dremel for taking off the original bearing and stop collar too. Good luck, these mowers kick *ss when every thing is working!Read full review
