PROS: The bolts pack powerful punches at impact based on Dick's Sporting Goods high density foam target. With field tip, the bolts past through target by 3 inches (did not exit completely). Some clarification may be required here. A three dimensional target foam block is typically L x W x H (or thickness), where L x W (L = W) is the broad side square for bull's eye circle placement. When the target is set up for zeroing, the broadside is rotated 90 degrees. So all shots are taken on the thickness side (L x W). Adjustable foregrip safeguard is good thought. Scope and attachment are solid. Collapsible stock is a practical feature and good concept. CONS: Quiver attachment to the xbow rail chassis could be more sturdy. Collapsible stock and mechanism could be tighter assembly to eliminate rattling as in current condition, sure minor modification of shimming or tape would work. Trigger latch and string interface where the string is captured (when bow is drawn), could use wider material to distribute force and reduce impression on the string. My string shows dent or impression (after couple dozen shots) where the latch is, and this is not good for string life. Weight is 7.7 lbs., for practical purpose 8 lbs., comparing to 4-5 lbs. competitor brand, there is room for improvement on weight. The weight and trigger latch are probably the only things that prevent this review from being five stars.Read full review

It arrived and I put it together. Instructions could be a little more clear but had no trouble putting it together. I like the adjustable stock. Got it sighted in and it started shooting erratically. I called up Centerpoint and asked if they knew why it would shoot good and then the bolts would hit 6 to 8 inches off the bulls eye. They had no idea so I figured it was the new bolts I was using. Tried the 3 bolts that came with the bow and now they did the same. If this would happen with a gun I would think it was me or something was wrong with the scope. Checked the scope to see if it had got loose and it had not. So then I got the wrenches out and checked for a loose bolt. The bolt that holds the limbs on was loose. It become loose from shooting the crossbow so I took the bolt out and put loctite on it and replaced it. Shot the bow afterwards and it was right on. Bow seems to be made very good. Have no problem with the scope. Bow is very accurate. Can put the bolts in the bullseye the size of a half dollar at 40 yards. Using Black Eagle Executioner bolts with 100 grain points. These bolts have are .001 for being straight. Would at this point definately recommend this bow. The price is very good and shoots great.Read full review

I got the crossbow in the instructions are horrible. Look on YouTube for assembly it is a lot easier. The string slide the bigger part of the grove goes towards the trigger it doesn't show that on any videos or the instructions. But got in put together had it sighted in with 3 bolts. The trigger has a very long pull. If you slap the trigger more like a shotgun it works better than the normal slow trigger pull like you would on a rifle. That is the only draw back for this bow. It's a very good buy and a very good bow for the money.

This is a hard hitting, real deal hunting crossbow. Customer service from Crosman is very good. The trigger has a lot of travel or creep before release, but you can adjust to that. The cocking rope is hindered by the prepare to fire button on the left side of rail. You can compensate for the rub in a number of ways, in short, you can make it work. The crossbow is accurate, I have shot repeated bulls eye at 20 and 30 yards, I have not shot it farther. The scope that comes with it is adequate, you have to tap it after each elevation and windage adjustment, but you can get it to zero. It shoots harder and just as accurate as a more expensive crossbow that I have. Purchasing new bolts with .003 run out tolerance makes a big difference in accuracy. The bolts that come with it are ok, but if you want precision, the better bolts make a difference. The way to take the rub out of cocking the crossbow is to put the hooks facing down during cocking, instead of hooks facing up during cocking as shown in crosman.s instructions. There is a fix for the trigger described in Crossbownation Forum on this Crosman Sniper 370 crossbow. If you are on a budget and want to go crossbow hunting, this is an excellent choice. If money is no object, then spend a $1000 to $2000 and get a really good crossbow, but for me, the $ 239 price on ebay fit my needs.Read full review
