I've heard bad things about Crosley turntables simply because of the weight of the needle applied to the record and I'll just say that it isn't a bad weight, mine is not exceeding more than 4 grams. But I'm still going to construct my own counterweight so that I can be able to be in control of how much my records take. Better safe than sorry :). Overall incredible sound (alone) can't wait to add my speakers!

Much better sound than the somewhat less expensive Crosley Cruisers. Speakers are twice the size (the unit is about twice the size but still portable) and has tone control that the cruiser doesn't have. You do have to install software on your computer to make digital copies of your records.

Great for playing records, but sound not so good. Perhaps there is a defective speaker or a loose wire? Bought it to transfer records to computer.

I have always been a huge vintage music enthusiast, and I feel like these records are a modern testamant to old music. They're super simple to use and very cheap for the sound quality!

I bought one with high expectations of transferring my records to MP3’s. Good grief what a waste of time. And the speakers are awful...probably 5 watts.
