Love this movie, it’s pure Woody Allen!! A psychological thriller for sure. Ah the guilt!! It speaks to the fact that our behaviors have consequences and this movie actively portrays the conflicts and neurotic behaviors that people engage in. Provocative and very thought provoking. It speaks to the power of the unconscious.

I love this movie. It does an excellent job of combining the comedic and tragic. It says a lot about the moral conundrums we face in life and love and existence. There are great discussions about good and evil, the nature of man and the existence of God between the characters in the movie. Very philosophical film with witty and well written dialog. Highly recommended for Woody Allen fans and all fans of fine cinema.
***MINIMAL SPOILERS*** Woody Allen's crazy but entertaining web of tales features malfeasance and the dire consequences of said "crimes". Judah( Martin Landau) is a pillar of the community as a successful Ophthalmologist, gets his cards handed to him by his mistress( Angelica Huston) when she threatens Judah to either leave his wife for her or else. The married filmmaker Cliff( Woody Allen) falls for a younger TV exec while shooting a doc about a hard-to-like comedian( Alan Alda).
Have not had time to watch the Woody Allen movie, but the DVD looks to be in great shape.

I felt that there was little humor in this Woody Allen movie. The entertaining part was the suspense involved in it. Woody's two funniest movies, in my opinion, are Take the Money and Run and Love and Death.
