Great Book. Even though it is very descriptive, I wouldn't say this book is for a beginner. Some experience seems neccessary and then this book will teach you to really expand your beading adventures. Good illustrations, a little more illustrated steps would have been nice, but enough to get you going. An excellent section describing how to blend one technique into another. Fabulous array of gallery photo's to awe and inspire you. Wonderful variety of projects to help teach techniques. Again, not step by step as some may be used to from certain beading magazines, but definatly a training ground for bringing out your own creativity. Truly a treasure to become a staple in one's beading reference library. I highly recommend this book to serious beaders looking towards mastering many different methods.Read full review
Beautiful book, just didn't like any of the patterns inside it, nothing I would want at all
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
This is one of my favorites! Not only is it beautiful to look at, but the author writes her instructions in such a clear and expansive manner.
AS A TEACHER OF BEAD WEAVING I HAVE FOUND TOO MANY BOOKS ARE NOT REALLY CLEAR WHEN DESCRIBING A PATTERN. IT IS VITAL TO DO SO WITH UTMOST CLARITY IF DESCRIBING THE WORDS FAMILIAR ONLY TO BEADING. THIS WORK IS WITHOUT PAR! IT IS SIMPLY AND CLEARLY WRITTEN. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ALL MY STUDENTS.
