Lite weight but sturdy.
We recently bought another Ryobi One+ product and were quite pleased with it. We thought we'd try this trimmer as it shares the same battery pack. It works very well around our suburban property and had enough power for our average trimming tasks. Ryobi Weed Eater
This device is a new purchase for me. I only have used it a few times. I find it unusually heavy, and after a short period of time it hurts my arms and shoulders. The auto feed line seems intermittent and you have to wait for it to feed. I had trouble establishing a proper field of cut i.e. where the unit cuts. Incidentally I cut down flowers and other wanted plants in the yard, because I could not control the cutting pattern. Maybe with a little practise I will get better at using this device. Good trimmer but not a good value. I definitely paid too much

Versatile, light and it works!

Wacking weeds is not my life.
I got this tool because my back and dekker died,and I had Ryobi tools already. The auto feed doesn't work right, but for what I do it is okay I bought heavier duty trimmer wire, and I don't have to manually feed it as often .
