Wickedly Enchanting Magickal Music By the Sacred Covenant and Circle of Wytchblood, a dream-begotten musical grimoire is forged. With a dark ambient magickal aesthesis, La Sorciere Noire weaves her incantatory charms with middle-eastern modalities, marrying ancient ethereal trance to a modern gothic sensuality. Drawing from Sabbatic Craft, as well as various magickal and mythical traditions, La Sorciere Noire's invocations are a ritual praxis conjuring the gateway betwixt the worlds, evoking ancient atavisms and oracles that manifest in the mirror of dreams. Lylyth accompanies her vocal mythopoetics with evocative synthscapes and polyvalent electronics, and plays dark and luminous textures on electric and acoustic guitars, persian kamancheh, santur, Turkish saz, yayli tambur, electric oud, dulcimers and violins. The CD art was designed by Asenath Mason (UnholyVault) of Lodge Magan / Dragon Rouge. It is a 4 panel booklet of dark art honoring Hecate, Queen of the magickal cross'd roads and include song credits and a short ritual poem from Azoetia by Andrew Chumbley.
