I've had a lot of airsoft guns. CAW M-134 to Bell 723 and 722. Currently own almost 100 airsoft guns down from 150. This pistol is stunningly accurate with repeatability. 3 mags from 1 co2 cylinder. Attention-getting action and full blowback. Lives up to the Colt brand name. Might buy a second one so I can duel with someone. Lol.

Good looking 1911, for the most part well made. Shot 2" high at 21', out of the box. With a 1mm high piece of aluminum strap bonded to the front sight, it is shooting right on, with 5 shot groups of less than an inch diameter. I also purchased a set of Herrett wood grips and adapted them to the piece. Now it is a beautiful gun. The only problem that I encountered was that the disengager (rear right of the frame) sticks in the down position, effectively making it another safety. In order to release it I have to tap or slap the right side of the frame after each shot. I'm beginning to feel like a German Spadau machine gunner from WW1. The disengager is a spring loaded item and may have a burr which catches in the sear. If so, it may rectify with time. Due to this one problem, I can not recommend this gun to the average enthusiast. Colt should not put their name on a product with questionable quality control.Read full review

This is an outstanding replica of the Colt .45 ACP auto as used in WW.II, Korea, and Vietnam. The finish, grips, and markings are extremely similar to the original. This pistol is all metal and has a good feel in your hand. The orange plastic tip in the barrel detracts from the appearance, but fortunately this is easy to remove. (It can also be put back in if needed.) Function and accuracy are good as long as you use a good quality 6mm airsoft pellet. (Do not attempt to use 4.5mm/.177 BBs.) It is not cheap, but it is a good value for the money.

Ok disclamer first. Airsoft newbie... That being said it is easy to use, accurate (at least better than I am) and it looks and feels just like the real thing. At one point in the far distant past I was on a pistol team using the real 1911 and this is as close to that as I could ever ask for without it being the real deal.
