If your philosophy for dog training is to use force free, positive methods this is a great help for dealing with aggressive dogs. Maybe every dog can't be saved, but many of them can be and this book provides the guidance for how to do that humanely. This helped me work with my dog who was reactive to other dogs and some people. Easy to read, easy to understand.

I bought this book for my over-protective Catahoula. I really liked it, it has some great ideas. It also goes into what you may be subcontiously doing to trigger aggression, like suddenly tightening the leash/tensing yourself. Uses positive reinforcement to reward good behavior, remember aggression begets aggression. Many practical ideas for managing the problem while your working through it, and ways to set your dog up for sucess. I would highly reccomend it.
