Season 11 has a bit more basic explanation during the exercises than season 12. Although season 12 has tons of instructions and is also excellent. I purchased season 11 after having season 12 for about a year, simply to give me a bit more variety. The exercises in season 11 look easier, but believe me when I say that they are not. Holding poses and going slow is not easy, but the instructor continually says to "go at your own pace and don't over-do it." Anyone who has chronic back pain like me, due primarily to muscle spasms, will really appreciate saving a bundle on chiropractors and acupuncturists. Both sets have paid for themselves ten times over. I've purchased many exercise DVDs in the past, and although I got some good exercise and a great deal of value from them, none have gotten me out of pain like these do, as long as I use them regularly.Read full review

At age 67 1/2 still enjoy being active, including skiing with its occasional falls. By enjoyable, light exercise 22 min daily, no injuries, plus feel better afterwards and no residual soreness, at least if you make it a daily habit. Promotes immune function as well. Though, when I did have a torn ACL after a ski collision getting off the lift, did have to slowly get back up to speed with exercise so may have to moderate the program to fit one's physical limitations, but has helped me regain full strength and use of the knee after tearing ACL without need for surgery.

I love this dvd. Miranda does a wonderful job stretching and moving that you feel awesome the rest of the day. I noticed a difference the first time. I am over 50 and find it hard to do yoga poses but these moves of ballet/tai chi style are easy to do and effective. And she does a good job explaining the benefits of what you are doing. The music is an interesting choice at times but isn't too distracting. I am super glad I bought this.
