Overall manufacturing quality is very good. However, and this is a big BUT ... The design of the pivot edge is not round, like a typical vintage trem. It is like a triangle, two flat edges, instead of a rounded pivot. What the resultant effect is, is that when you depress the vibrato arm, the trem goes from one flat surface to another, instead of pivoting on a round surface. The trem needs to be manually pulled back into position, because of this, instead of having the strings and springs establish an equilibrium point. You can feel the bridge transition from one flat surface to another. It is more of a problem when you release the arm, because it does not naturally return to its starting point. If you hardtail/deck the vibrato and don’t use it, this would not be a problem and for that, the quality is excellent.Read full review

This was purchased as an upgrade for a Squier Affinity Strat. Beware that the Squier Strat has a shallow body and this tremolo block will stick out the back of the termolo rout, preventing the ability to attach the rout cover plate without modifications. There are workarounds for this, but if you are expecting a drop-in replacement for a Squier then you should look at alternative tremolo upgrades.

This vintage style bridge is a great upgrade for any strat player who wants to get rid of the annoying trem arm wobble found on the majority of strat bridges. Guitar tone is not compromised. Simply Awesome!

The tremolo blick is made of very light alluminium alloy, other than that it's great.

Good value but note the size is a 10.8 string spacing (total = 54mm fixing ctrs) Many imports are 52mm or 54mm. Not sure about Mexican size. USA strat vintage is 56mm, This is a 54mm.
