I'm extremely pleased with the Chom-Chom roller. I've been looking for a long while for a device to remove lint, cat hair and junk from furniture, clothing, linen, and carpets. The tape-style rollers are adequate, but only if I use three or four sheets for each object I'm working at. It's expensive to keep replacing the rolls of tape. The PROS: It definitely gets up the lint/pet hair; the lint/hair trap is excellent; it's very sturdy and well-made; it fits easily in my hand. The CONS: It's a bit bulky; the lint/hair trap is a little difficult to grab the stuff from, but this is a minor issue; there isn't a way to remove the lint trap to wash/clean it thoroughly after 'x' number of uses. Overall, it's a very practical, sturdy, usable roller and I recommend it. Try to find it on sale, though, since it's a bit pricier than the paper rollers.Read full review

I've got a 35 year old 'Magic Brush'. They were five bucks then, they're about five bucks now. The ChomChom's hair-cleaning surface is the exact same material, and it's so annoying to only be able to brush about 4 inches forward and back instead of long passes with a brush. Do not be deceived into thinking you can swipe this thing over any distance greater than a few inches, it's NOT really a 'roller'. You won't enjoy cleaning a couch or bedspread, unless you like cleaning about a 8" square at a time. The ONLY upside is the somewhat self-cleaning function, and the hair trap. But a Magic Brush for $5 does the same job of picking up hair, plus you can run the length of a bed with a brush, and NOT with a ChomChom. For $30, it's bordering on a scam. As a cat behaviorist, and 'with cats' for 45 years, I thought this might be an answer to my prayers. Total disappointment, i already have a magic brush, and it's just as good, or better.Read full review

I run an animal rescue and always have plenty of animals in the house. I have been fighting fur for years. When I came across this product I had very high hopes and I have to say I was not disappointed. This product takes away large amounts of fur and is easy to use. I could not be happier! I highly recommend the ChomcChom. Trust me if this product can keep up in this house it can keep up anywhere!

We like our ChomChom pet hair remover very much. We have a Chihuahua mix who sheds small stiff hairs, but not a ton. It works well on furniture and on car upholstery. It doesn't work as well on carpeting and I would not recommend using it on delicate clothing. It might work on heavier coats, but we haven't tried it yet since it's summer. We find it works better than tape and is more efficient. And, it saves you money because there is nothing to buy, no refills of anything! The only thing slightly negative is the handle. I wish it was a little more comfortable. It's open in the back and not a solid handle. But, the efficiency outweighs comfort. I would definitely recommend purchasing this item.

Works great on furniture. Have a husky and the hair is endless. This saves money on tape rollers. Wish the had a travel size for clothes
