Cheers was a great show to watch when it aired on tv. All the characters would gather each week around Sam's bar called "Cheers", and converse about their problems, and each one would provide support and help to one another. It was a place that you could go and have a good time, and make long-lasting friendships with one another. The show had a lot of character, and it was a time in life when people would converse with one another on a "verbal" level. Today, people use cell phones to converse in public places with one another. This show takes you back to the era when people "verbally" got to know one another in person when they would meet in public places, instead of relying on cell phones like today to communicate with people.

Never thought I'd be watching all these 30 years after they ended but it's much easier. Love Kirstie and all of them...a bygone age. Are the sitcoms these days any better? I wouldn't know.
