Bought it knowing it was going to be a cheaper product, and not a permanent structure. However, after assembly and some added self tapping screws in select spots, it seems to be holding up well. Anchored with 8” screws. Even in 20-30mph gusts, it only sways 1-2”, which isn’t bad for not having any anchor ropes. Tarp could be alittle better material, but better replacements are out there. I’m sure that will be the first failure point. I filled the upright legs with sand to add some weight to the base as well(roughly tripled the weight of the legs). Assembly was easy, and only took about 1.5hrs to assemble with one person. The 9x16 has enough room for our Explorer Sport Trac, and all doors open without hitting the middle legs(if parked even with B-Pillar). However, for a larger truck, the larger carport they offer would be a better choice. Once the tarp fails, I plan on using some corrugated roof panels as a replacement roof. Overall, a decent carport for the price.Read full review

Using this canopy in my backyard to ensure the dogs have one dry place so go outside when raining. I wasn't sure what to expect but this is a fairly sturdy canopy once it's anchored. It was easy to assemble (highly recommend reading the directions first) though having two people was helpful. The canopy color is light and doesn't entirely block the light which is great since it's right outside my bedroom window. This is a versatile canopy which I could see using in other areas of my yard. I've only had it up for a couple weeks so can't speak to the longevity but for the price, I'll be pleased if it lasts for a few years. It's definitely serving the purpose and blends into my yard well. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 Stars is because the footings at the bottom of each pole don't have predrilled holes to ensure they stay attached (which means the poles can just pop out of their bases during a strong wind. I used stakes with nylon rope to secure mine but it would be beneficial to bolt down the footings directly instead. Without a way to secure the poles to the footings, though, I either have to drill holes thru the pole bottom and purchase additional bolts to ensure the poles stay in the footings or rely on the tie downs. Not a big deal to resolve myself but seems like predrilling holes and including 4 more nuts/bolts would have been a no-brainer. If you're using this on a cement surface, you'll need to come up with a way to secure it otherwise it's somewhat flimsy. I'd recommend this canopy as long as you can anchor it into dirt or another stable surface.Read full review

I bought this as a temp fix until I can figure out what I want to build long term. We just went through a very nasty downpour followed by golf size hail. In Houston, that is insane. The canopy survived and performed great. Putting together there are a few quirks that you will need to understand. I used self taping screws for the areas that had no reinforcement. I also used 3" Pvc pipe filled with concrete to serve as another way to hold the canopy down. So far I'm very happy.

We use it on our deck over the tables and chairs to keep them clean and dry as we have large trees and they get dirty quick. I drilled extra holes in the 6 legs, top and bottom and added bolts there. We screwed it down to the deck and added straps to the deck hand rail. We are pleased so far but the top poly fabric could be of better quality. We have ordered a spare top in case they are discontinued. This was the only one available that would fit our space. It does come 20' as well.

I have it for while now, It holding up very well. it does not stand out to much. The black poles have made it difficult to see by my truck when backing. I did bend one of the supports I place a piece of angle iron to reinforce it. I still recommenced it It not meant for snow load. It did survive a 4 inches one night, I cleared it in the morning it get the weight off.
