I wasn't going to write a review because ebay won't let me sell anymore due to some misunderstandings but I thought, what the heck; if I can help someone decide on a chair to purchase, I will. I purchased this for my mom who probably weighs about 180 pounds. She goes on very short rides, to the car and back and little walks when it's nice outside (like 5 mins) because we also have back issues so we can't push for too long. That said, it is fairly easy for us to push even with our back issues, it is light weight enough to take in and out of the car, I would say that it would hold someone maybe about 220 pounds comfortably, and it's a great price. I would definitely give it a thumbs up for someone who was not over 220 pounds and who was using this for mainly transfer.

Purchased for the reason of being lightweight. And that it is, I am able to load into my trunk myself. Being a women, a wheelchair is too heavy to lift into the trunk of my car. I am very satisfied. Has all features of a wheelchair except for the big wheels for self rolling. This product is made for someone to push you. I do recommend this product to transport a loved one to a doctors appointment, hospital visit etc.

This Transport Chair is very easy to put in the trunk of a car.. It is easy to fold to a compact size. and light weight. . Sitting in it you can mover yourself around with little effort. The only thing I'd change on it would be the arm rest length. They won't let you sit up close to a table.

This is not a wheelchair... It's made for those of us who cannot walk long distances (for me that's 100 feet) and who has an attendant assist in pushing you where you need to roll! This is truly a lightweight chair. Being partially paralyzed, I don't have the ability to push myself along with a regular wheelchair. My elderly mother is my caretaker. She doesn't have much strength (and being that I cannot exercise, I'm not feather-weight)... yet she has no problem pulling this chair out of the trunk and helping me into the chair. It unfolds easy and rolls just fine. The chair easily passes through regular doorways and folds up like a paper bag (how simple, not size!))... For anyone who needs a lightweight, but sturdy travel chair to get you from the house to the car and the car to inside the mall, or doctor's office, etc., this is the perfect chair. The paint is durable and the chair is comfortable. The wheel breaks work (even with a heavy load) and though I have not used the regular seatbelt, there are straps on the foot-rests that you can use to keep your feet from slipping off the rests. I find that most helpful. You won't regret buying this - I didn't. Cons? Since I use this to only go from home-to-car-to-destination, I don't know if it's comfortable to sit in for hours at a time. It's comfortable for short travel, that's for sure. I definitely recommend this chair.Read full review

After buying one for my Mom last year, I just bought a second one for a friend. This chair is remarkably lightweight, folds easily and fits behind the seat in my car. I was originally skeptical of the quality given the low price, but it’s well built. My Mom, who can walk short distances, was reluctant to use a chair initially but is now a believer since the chair allows her to do things she wouldn’t otherwise have the stamina for. The only problem I have had with it is having it tip forward after hitting a bump and almost dumping my Mom. That may be operator error, but I think the small wheels make this sort of problem more likely. It’s important to be cautious on uneven surfaces and to use the seat belt.
