I'm convinced, these are true OEM ink cartridges. I've had trouble in the past with refilled OEM cartridges. When these arrived, I replaced all 5 cartridges and my printer put out perfect, unstreaked color for the first time in a couple of years. I'm VERY satisfied.

This set goes for $54.88 at my WalMart, so this is a very good deal. I have been using these cartridges for a while now, but I had to learn the hard way not to use the refillable kind that are so prevalent on Ebay. I bought a set of these along with a bottle of ink and if it had worked, it would have saved me bunches. However, the cartridges, after being refilled, leak terribly. Wound up costing me a printer, had to trash it it was so messed up. Only buy the OEM ones like these.

I only use manufacturer ink as unbranded or refills have always caused me grief either with the cartridge and/or ink. Cartridges due to printer not electronically being recognized or refill ink not lasting very long.

I learned it a hard way when I had to throw away $300 printer after using those 'compatible' cheap BS cartridges.

These are original cartridges that come with the Canon printer when you first purchase it. I used them to do a test run after deep cleaning my printer. They are top quality but have a very limited quantity of ink making them excellent for an economical way to test the printer, but not for long term use.
