As an older version of the Canon Power Shot, it is a bit heavier and bulkier than the newer models, but produces excellent quality pictures. Viewer is small, and there is a several-second delay in capturing image, so not so good for moving subjects, but great for stills. Memory card is one of the old, huge 64MB, but inexpensive card reader uploads photos just fine. Just needed a basic used camera for field use, and it definitely didn't disappoint.
One of the best bargains you can buy these days is a "low" megapixel camera. Most folks upload shots and they get processed down anyway so there is no benefit to high megapixels at all. It just slows down the upload and too much is processed down. The lower MP cameras get a more accurate depiction when uploaded because there is a lot less downsizing, if any at all. A 2 or 3,2 MP camera will give you film quality prints up to 5 x 7 and excellent quality prints up 8 x 10. PLUS the added bonus is that everyone is so focused on high megapixels that these older 2 mp cameras are a bargain. the build quality is far superior and the photo color and quality are superior. High megapixels introduce more "noise" into the picture and Hi MP's also are crowded onto Tiny CCD Chips that leads to color bleedthrough between pixels. I'll stick with *mp's and under thank you and THIS S330 which I own a similar 2 mp canon, will stay in my camera army forever. It has it's place and purpose.Read full review
Easy to use, great pictures. The results are so clear, the smallest details show up with clarity. Definitely recommend.
